Help me build my classroom library! At such a young age, it’s so important to encourage reading by providing a variety of books. Currently, my students are struggling readers, but they love the excitement of going to the the school library to look at the books. I’m convinced that by providing engaging books, they will be motivated to become fluent readers. Unfortunately, because many books have gone missing in the past and the school cannot continue to replace them, K-1 are not allowed to check out books. With the help of the resources I’ve requested, I’m sure my students will become lifelong readers and learners. As the saying goes, “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader”.
