This project will be used to help give my students sports equipment to promote wellness and activity. Students have become sedentary since the pandemic and the need to get them up and moving again definitely exists. Students earn points throughout the school day and they cash those points in at our school store. The sports equipment will be added to the school store for students to purchase with the points they earn. I love that the students will own the exercise equipment. This project will provide students with fabulous equipment such as tennis balls, foam balls, dodgeballs, and more to encourage health and wellness. This equipment will have my students up, running, jumping, and doing all types of physical activities to get their hearts pumping. Just like academics, physical activity is an extremely important part of a child's mental and physical health.
