These books will be added to my classroom take home library. Students who struggle with reading and who may not have access to books that they feel they can successfully read will now be able to take home "real" books rather than black and white copies of the intervention book they read in group that day. These books also will help nurture that very important home/school connection. Students can bring home a book that they can read to their parent or caregiver and showcase what they have been working on in during their intervention time. I have had several parents comment on how excited their child is to come down to the reading room to pick a new book.
