Energetic, inquisitive, and playful; our 3 & 4 year old preschool students are just beginning their school adventure and need a classroom that is safe and stimulating. Our program is for students with moderate to severe disabilities and each student has their own unique gifts and challenges. Our classroom is a daily opportunity for each child in our room to use their endless energy and inquisitive nature to develop their unique needs. Some students are working on how to be a student, developing play skills (cooperative play, sharing, turn-taking, etc.) and/or developing self-help skills (toileting/feeding/etc.). Other students are working on communication skills and/or pre-academic skills (colors, shapes, letters, numbers). While the students have a wide range of abilities and a variety of goals, they all work super hard each and every day.
