Students will be learning about endangered animals while focusing on environmental concerns around the world. They will use this knowledge to write their own puppet show script to teach younger students about these issues. By having these puppets, the students will have an opportunity to creatively express their ideas through puppetry. Students will be cooperatively working with their peers as they create a puppet show to educate others on environmental issues facing our world. We will also be talking about ways to help solve these issues for future generations by working on ways to make change. Students will be able to make change by educating other students. This lesson will make an impact on environmental concerns including the fires in Australia, California, and the Amazon.
