For many students, learning all the skills necessary to be a successful reader can be a daunting task. My classroom has students at many different reading levels. Whole group lessons are always a part of our day. However, individualized instruction is very necessary in my classroom for many students. The materials I am requesting will be used to set up centers in order to keep my students engaged in learning while I am meeting students individually in order to give them much needed one-on-one assistance. Students will be able to work independently, learn new skills, refresh old skills and have fun all at the same time!
