The internet has a wealth of resources that can be used in the classroom. But in order to print them out for use, a color printer is needed. It has been said that with more acquired knowledge a person has on any subject matter, it will better equip that person in his/her future endeavors. This printer will be used for supplemental materials to assist students in getting a better understanding of the subject matter or theme being discussed during the class period whether it is (1) Language Arts Reading/Writing assignments, (2) Social Studies while developing good citizenship manners, (3) Science with hand-out materials to record data, (4) Writing materials with thematic topics on authors, poets, stories and other subject matters, and (5) home learning materials to go along with the materials given in the classroom. All of these activities use up ink that the school does not provide. It is my hope that this project will also provide ink so that we can continue to use this printer.
