As a fourth-grade writing teacher, my students are always working on compositions. We go over the writing process to become better writers and readers. My goal is to prepare my students to be able to compose multiple texts that are legible and use appropriate conventions. I want to provide my students with a reading/writing corner. I believe that having a comfortable space will motivate my students and help them get their thoughts flowing. Furthermore, having them work there in their journal or composition will help them practice the writing process and overall become better writers and readers. I am asking for stress reliever balls because some of my students get a writer's block when they are writing their ideas and need a way to channel that anxiety.
