With these books, all of first grade students will get to meet any different characters. They will get to see a pig save his best friends children, they will wonder about all of the amazing, delicious inventions of Willy Wonka, and they will travel down the road with the Boxcar Children. These are just a few that they will get to meet and learn about along the way. It is proven that students who are read to will learn more words over time. It is our hope that by children hearing stories, it will inspire them to read and find a joy of reading themselves. After reading these with students, we watch the movie so students can take their imagination even further.

About my class
