Many of my students do not have home access to any type of technology, which makes it difficult for them to do homework or catch up on work. Since most school districts, including ours, are using google classroom, the need for a laptop, Chromebook or computer is almost a necessity. I have seen them write a whole essay using their little phones. Most of these kids have full-time jobs to help the family pay basic bills such as food, heat, electricity, etc., therefore it would never occur to them to spend the money on something like a Chromebook. Please help me have an extra set in the classroom which I would be able to lend out to the neediest of these kids.
