Sitting at desks and tables all day is hard for anyone, especially for kids. Flexible seating promotes a strong community of engaged learners through comfort and choice. Traditional tables can become crowded and students are stuck in the same place, surrounding by the same people. Bean bags, mats and lounge chairs will give students the ability to sit freely and comfortably around the room. Kids need to move their bodies and these materials let them do that. We need to keep these kids focused and engaged! The donations to this project will help my students be more engaged while being comfortable and in control of their learning environment. When students are comfortable, they are more focused and willing to work.
