Part of continuing our band program at our school this fall includes each third-grade student being given their own personal recorder so that they can practice at home in addition to taking group lessons at school. This package includes the green Yamaha YRS-20 3-piece soprano recorder with Baroque fingering (most common in elementary schools). Especially with COVID and for health reasons, students will be provided with their own instrument that they can keep and hopefully continue playing even after the school year is over. We will need to renew our request for funding each year so that future third-grade students can benefit from this program.
