In our classroom we like to use our desks as our "math boards"! In order to do this we need high quality markers to keep our learning successful and uninterrupted. My students love the excitement writing on their desks brings and ever since transitioning into this my students have shown great strides in math! It's a beautiful moment when I hear my students saying "Wait, we have a chart for that, let me go look and see!" My students love the anchor charts we create together in class. These act as resources throughout the year and are hung around the classroom to provide students with the tools they need to successfully work in ELA , Math, Social Studies, and Science. With your help, we will be able to bring more anchor charts into the classroom and higher success rates through out the subjects. Lastly, students are working very hard to increase their reading levels. Due to a lack of copy paper not being provided to teachers and lack of classroom supplies, I am asking for paper to be able to help students take home printed copies of leveled readers to help strengthen their reading. With the help of more paper I can make copies of level readers and books in other languages to aid my ELL students at home! Many of my students lack the resources to continue their learning past the 8:00-3:00 school day and being able to provide them with the resources would be so beneficial.
