My students will be able to venture outside of the traditional textbook and find themselves immersed in a fascinating book detailing the inner workings of our capital. My students will be able to work independently or within a group dynamic, as they develop their own critical thinking skills and determine the difference between fact and fiction. This book will allow my students the opportunity to read an outside source, often times they do not have this luxury, and debate the significance of the claims presented in the text. Students will be able to present their arguments, regarding the text, in essay format or in a multitude of other ways, such as Google Slides, Prezi presentations, etc.
