In my class, we research and investigate life science. During this unit, we explore the classifications of different animals. The students learn about the 4 B's of how to classify an animal (Body covering, blood temperature, how they have babies, and how they breathe). Currently, I have every vertebrate group represented in my classroom except for fish. My students LOVE watching and taking care of the animals in my classroom. My students observe and gain a deeper understanding of each animal group. Providing this interaction with animals will create a love for the subject of science!

About my class
