Writing gives them early and much needed confidence with literacy. Writing first helps kids get the meaning connection because they are conveying their own thoughts. The first words kids write will be written with unconventional spelling and even unconventional drawing of some letters. Many students struggle and become easily frustrated with writing. I want to enrich my writing time in my classroom. I want to help students become excited about writing and learn to enjoy it. Whiteboards will make a difference in my classroom because students will practice writing letters, numbers, and words daily. They will use the lines to help them have good writing formation and erasers to smoothly correct any mistakes.
