Students come to my room to improve their reading skills. By covering the fluorescent lighting in my classroom, students will have a more calming classroom to come and think in to help improve their reading. There will be less strain on their brain from the fluorescent lights which will give them more energy to focus on new skills they need to learn in the reading area. Many of the students that are coming to my room are struggling readers and have many distractions. By making the learning environment a calming area, this will give students an opportunity to gain even more skills and improve their reading ability.

About my class
