My students will use the new rug to gather and learn. We begin each new lesson together on the carpet. With this new rug, our class will be able to have a clean, comfortable place to gather, sit, learn, and grow together. Not only do we begin our lessons on the carpet but we return to the carpet numerous times daily to have read alouds, peer discussions, and group activities. Students need to be comfortable while learning. We want the ability to come together, share, and work as a group. A new rug will bring comfort and warmth to our classroom.
