My scholars are from low social-economic background, which gives them a disadvantage in education. Most scholars are refugees and have had no prior education experience. They come in not speaking English and due to this they fall far behind in reading. These materials will help by providing scholars with the best opportunities to succeed in literacy. These materials will also give my scholars a fighting chance at not only getting to the level they need to be on but possibly achieving a higher level, in which will give them a boost of confidence and will further help them succeed in later years.

About my class
