Having the option to work closer to the front of the classroom with a sturdy work surface would be fantastic. Students who sit towards the back of the classroom and want to sit closer to the board could use the lap desks when needed. Having the option of choosing the best place to complete work in the classroom, would be beneficial to students. Students could use the stools to work at the kidney table or work in different areas of the classroom. Both the lap desks and the stools would also be helpful when giving small group instruction. Help me give my students flexible seating options to enhance their learning environment and support learning! Working in an environment where they have seating optiions to help meet their needs will help keep students engaged and focused.
