We are in need of snacks to hold over my student/athletes as they are spending the majority of their day at school and the golf course. Hunger and lack of food is a major issue facing many children in New Haven. Every student receives free breakfast and free lunch, and for some students that is the only food that they have for the entire day. High school students have to focus on their academics and for my team, their team, and not on where their next meal or snack is coming. My athletes not only need food to get through the school day but also the hours following. Often time, I provide food and drinks to my team. With this project, I would be able to create a supply that my students would be able to access as needed.

About my class
