There are several times a child who is sick has to wait for their parents to get off work or make other plans to pick them up. When a child runs a fever of 101 or more, they need a place to rest until someone can pick them up. You never know what a child has gone through at home or whether or not they got enough sleep to be efficient at school. A nice place to rest where it's quiet and calm is needed in all clinics. A recovery couch is what my children need. Perhaps a child has had a seizure and just needs a place to recover fully from the excessive activity their brain has just been through. A quiet clinic with a soft lounge would be the perfect place for them.
