After several long hours of research and reading I am trying to encoraporate what I have learned into my classroom. This project is going to help accomplish 3 specific goals: 1) Getting a few more whiteboards will allow all groups whiteboard space in which they will be able to get up out of their chair and showcase work to the class. It will also allow students the opportunity for gallery walks and a more interaction with material 2) Organization for self reflection journals. I want students to keep a journal where they can write about their math journey as well as any other important information that is going on their life. By obtaining some desk organizers I will be able to keep all the students journals in the classroom (so they don't get lost) and be able to give them back to the students at the end of the year to take with them as a reminder of all they accomplished! 3) Lastly, my room is large and sometimes students in the back have a hard time seeing my Smartboard. With the HDMI cable and TV mount I will be able to mount a TV/Monitor to display the work closer to the back of the room.
