My students are full of energy and love to learn! STEM is a class where students are allowed to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They want to do hands-on projects but sometimes we don't have the basic supplies we need. Exposing the students to the career paths that are going to explode in the next twenty years has the potential to change their lives! Each STEM activity features a bit of research, a design challenge, and a presentation. The design challenge could be anything from creating a solar oven to building a weight-baring structure. The scissors will help us in the execution of these design challenges. We will use basic supplies such as colored pencils and markers to color diagrams and decorate our creations. The aprons will help protect our clothes, but what's more, they will be like a uniform to help kids get into the appropriate mindset to learn. I can't wait to see what my students will be able to do with these materials!
