These flexible seating options will give students the opportunity to make responsible choices about their own learning. Our classroom is a place where we work to build a community of helping each other become our best selves. One aspect of becoming our best self is becoming aware of how we learn most effectively. Each student has their own strengths and my goal is to provide an environment where they can discover those strengths. Flexible seating can take away some of the obstacles that get in the way of students succeeding in a traditional seating classroom. Flexible seating has been proven to burn more calories, increase oxygen flow to the brain, and improve posture. It can increase student engagement and motivation.
