Many lessons include the use of a projector and I love being able to bring the outside world into our classroom! The only problem is that the projector I have must be 6-8 feet away from the whiteboard. This means I often have to move back and forth from the computer/projector setup to the front of the class. If you know 1st graders, then you know that every second of transitioning means distractions! Having a projector in the middle of the classroom also means that power cords and HDMI cables are running everywhere. An ultra short-throw projector means I can mount it on the wall and project from above the whiteboard and have the computer at the front of the classroom. This would drastically change the lesson and classroom dynamics.
