Every day, my students have a carefully structured "free time." They are divided into 5 groups and engage in activities focused on literacy, math, logic, and critical thinking. As a first-year teacher, I did not enter the year with an abundance of games, activities, or supplies. My students have enjoyed what I've managed to put forth, but they are starting to get bored with what I have. I would love to give them some refreshing activities to help their minds grow. New books will open their world to new ideas and information, puzzles and games will help develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the storage items will help us all keep it organized and in good condition.
