I am requesting these stools because they provide smart, efficient, and flexible seating options for students in my classroom. The stools will be used as specific supports for active and low-energy students to help them engage during lessons, when traditional seating may not be conducive to learning. Seeing students move as they work, and seek out different spots and chairs around the room demonstrates the need to provide more options for them to use. My students need stools to provide additional flexible seating options. Every student in my classroom will benefit from using these stools at some point. Because of my table team grouping arrangement, stools will rotate between table groups based on a determined schedule that the student groups determine. In this way students will take collaborative ownership over the stool use to help provide fair access that meets everyone's needs.
