In my classroom we foster creative independent writing. My students enjoy filling pages with imaginative stories, interesting facts, and inspiring narrations. Having the right tools for drafting, revising, editing, and publishing compositions is key for nurturing these young authors. Pens with different colors will be used for color coding revisions and editions like coherence, capitalization, punctuations marks, and spelling. Paper choice will give students ownership of their work. The staplers will help students keep their papers neat and organized. A Writing Station with easy access to various writing tools, and paper choice will definitely empower my students throughout the Writing Process.
