The "A Little SPOT of..." books are an awesome series to help students understand feelings, emotions, and social skills like responsibility, patience, and honesty by explaining each topic at a developmentally appropriate level. These materials will help my students expand their emotional intelligence and learn about important life skills like empathy, courage, teamwork, and optimism. Helping our students learn about social emotional wellbeing will allow them to not only build better self-awareness but also strengthen their relationship building skills. I hope that these books will help our students to understand social emotional learning by explaining interpersonal skills at a child friendly level.
