I am putting this out into the world hoping that it gets funded because I want all my students to have to opportunity to work with clay. These children have never had clay taught as part of their art curriculum. I love working with clay myself and am very excited to open this world up to them. For our first clay project we will all be making animals. They will have the chance to learn handbuilding techniques and work on creating texture on their animals. My students will have to opportunity to paint all of their projects and that will be their first time painting a three dimensional art project. This project and its funding will affect an entire school. These kids deserve the best and I need your help to give it to them.
