Bouncy Bands for desks help to keep students attentive and engaged in the classroom. Bouncy bands also help to appease sensory seekers. As a secondary teacher, it is sometimes difficult to keep students engaged due to their need to release extra energy. Bouncy bands gives students an outlet to release energy while staying seated, engaged, and attentive. These bands are a simple concept, but I believe that the impact they could make would be BIG! The bands stretch across the front of students' desks to allow them to bounce their feet! This gives students an outlet to release energy! Studies show bouncy bands help some students to release stress and anxiety! Studies also show they can help students to stay on task 9.9% longer! That may not sound like much, but--in a classroom--every second counts!
