These girls will be the first in the state to have an eSport school/University program lead by rostered players. eSports is a HUGE, up-and-coming industry and these girls are getting in on the ground floor where they could realistically explore a career in animation, graphic design, game design, storyboarding, coding, eSports marketing/sales, coaching, etc. Maybe even get a college scholarship or turn pro. The beauty of eSports is that gender or athleticism does not factor into the success of the player. The school has a dedicated room, teacher sponsor and will have practice 2/week with the rostered college players. The hope is to make this an on-going opportunity for all students.

About my class
