This trip allows students in an underserved community the opportunity to travel outside of the country for the first time. The majority of these students have never traveled outside the state and this trip not only allows for an awesome travel experience but the opportunity to earn education credit. During the trip students will participate in walking tours of historic landmarks and museums. The International Baccalaureate program places an emphasis on global conceptualization for students and this trip will give students a first hand experience. This trip will expand students understanding of the world from an "outside of the classroom" perspective.

About my class
