An iPad with a camera will allow students to be videoed interacting with peers so they can hear and see themselves and learn to change inappropriate communication habits. It will also be used to video students interacting appropriately with peers and adults in various social situations. The video recording feature will also allow accurate language, speech, and fluency samples of students being evaluated and will provide a consistent way of documenting changes over time. The video feature will be used to assess, teach, and document changes in communication skills. Students will be guided in recognizing behaviors that are positive and those that need to change. And what child doesn't love to see themselves?
