Students will be given topics to write on in one of three areas; narrative, informational, and opinion. Students will use the pads to brainstorm for their writing. When they are ready to write their draft they will have room to write. When students have finished their draft, they will have room to make necessary revisions that they have worked through with a peer and/or the teacher. Students will also have room to edit as needed. These legal pads will stay at school for me to use in one on one conferences with students.
