Getting students excited about learning is one of my goals as an educator. Science exploration has always sparked the curiosity of young children. Our Texas PreK Guidelines (standards) require that children explore and investigate light. And what better way to find out how light passes through some objects, than by using a Light Table. Light Tables amaze everyone when they see it for the first time. Students will compare objects placed on the table. Do the objects allow light to pass through them or do the objects block the light? Students can also use their imagination to create with "light blocks".
