All students want to feel connected to the world around them. With technology rapidly becoming a big part of everyday life, it is essential that students be exposed to different devices. Exposing students to different technological devices will allow them to make a connection to world around them while teaching them about the benefits of learning through technology. Specifically, technology can assist my students with connecting to their teachers and peers who speak English. For many of my students, the language barrier can be frustrating and can often stop them from speaking or sharing their ideas. Having tablets in the classroom will serve as a learning tool that can assist my students in learning a new language in fun and engaging ways.
