Through the funding of component 3, I will be able to complete the portfolio capturing my instructional planning, evidence of my teaching from two video recordings and instructional materials, I will analyze and perfect my knowledge of students, teaching and learning, knowledge of library and information studies, library administration, and integration of technologies. I will also focus on the equity, access, and diversity of my learning environment and library collection. As I take a deeper look at my teaching practice, I will focus on student learning styles, instructional goals, materials and resources used with students, and providing an equitable and safe learning environment. The media center is the hub of the school, where students learn to be lovers of books, lifelong learners, and users of information.
