In order to create a more open and welcoming space for students, the coat rack will give them a spot to leave their belongings and work more comfortably and collaboratively. Students will cultivate a healthy enthusiasm for mathematics both inside and outside of the classroom. With their updated Geometry Regents materials, they can feel more comfortable knowing that they can rely on a modern curriculum. Screening a film based on the genius of underrepresented minority groups, such as Hidden Figures, will allow my students to see a reflection of themselves and the possibilities that exist for them in growing STEM world.
