My toolbox of 20 years needs an overhaul. It used to be filled with all the tools for Secondary Choral Music and now I need to refill it with tools for Elementary Music. The TMEA convention offers its members professional growth, inspiration, and motivation to help them deliver the best music education experience possible for their students. As a new elementary music teacher I need all the tips and tools this convention can offer to fill my toolbox. No one else can offer the level of continued education in music like TMEA does through its annual Clinic/Convention. In just four days, they offer 300+ clinics, 100+ performances, and an exhibit hall with 500+ representatives from the music industry and beyond. Elementary Music Education is the foundation for our future musicians and I want to equip all of my students with the best tools possible.
