I am taking over an elementary and middle school library as a new/first-time librarian and first and foremost I want to make the library more inviting and comfortable for students. Isn't it wonderful to have a comfy seat and a good book? Students need flexible, comfortable seating choices in the library to feel welcomed into their books. As an avid reader and a lover of books, I know that sitting in a comfortable place can make a difference in how much I enjoy my reading experience. I would love to offer my students a comfortable place for their love of reading to expand.
