The 2 Chromebooks we are requesting will be shared between 12 Gifted and Talented students. This is a new program we are beginning in our rural community with implementing STEM projects. We realized through our planning process that many STEM options require computers to run the program. We will be running our STEM program in our library and currently we only have 2 older desktops that do not support the STEM programs. The donation to this project will not only help our students technological application, but it will help close the gap and allow our students to collaborate on projects they otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to participate in! Plus in this technology ran world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
