Our school is located in Chattanooga, TN. We are a Math, Science, and Technology school. We use technology in our classroom every day to help us explore and learn new things about the world around us, to practice the reading and math skills we're learning, and to create projects that showcases our learning. We recently received a class set of Chromebooks which has been a tremendous asset; unfortunately, we only have a few working headphones. The lack of headphones has necessitated a rotating schedule that allows about half of the students daily access to a device. A class set of headphones would allow daily access for all students. This would provide more opportunities to practice reading and math skills, as well as opening up other learning opportunities utilizing technology in our classroom because not one Chromebook would need to be silent.
