My classroom is in need of a new carpet, one where each student can have their personal space. I need a carpet that can fit up to 20 students. In first grade we do a lot of work and instructional time on the carpet. Students need to have their own learning space, so they can focus and be engaged. The classroom carpet I have right now makes for a tight fit. Students are struggling to stay focused, as they do not have their own learning space and bump into each other. My students have expressed, "wish we had a spot for each of us." I agree with them, which is why I am asking for a classroom carpet with 20 squares so each of them can have their own personal spot and space.
