Student learning increases when technology is used in the classroom. The addition of an iPad Pro and accessories will allow my students to use the latest technology and improve their learning experience. It will enable me to be more active and accessible when teaching the lesson, and will allow me to address misconceptions before they impact learning. We will use it in reading to take notes and follow along with the units of study. It will especially be productive for math lessons. I can save precious learning time because the iPad will allow me to move around in my classroom as I continue to teach. I can check participation and allow students to show their work. Seeing and hearing from peers is a great way to have student discussions. Being able to move freely amongst my students while teaching a lesson will enable me to help struggling learners. Currently, I am limited in mobility due to the outdated technology in my classroom. My students will benefit greatly by my ability to reach them.
