These materials will allow students with sensory deregulations to participate more during lessons. At this time, many of my students have difficulties regulating behaviors related to overstimulation. In order for students to feel more comfortable in the classroom, I have requested the Vinyl Ball Chair which would bring a sense of calmness to my classroom. In addition to sensory integration, our classroom does not have access to a color printer. Through the use of a colored printer, students would have access to printed copies of text and visuals that have accurate color representations. The students would be able to make more accurate depictions of printed materials as well as incorporate various visual stimuli around the classroom.
