Headphones will make a world of difference for students while trying to focus on learning and assessments in a crowded classroom with lots of noise. Many students cannot afford to buy their own and the inexpensive earbuds some of them bring are too big for their ears and quickly break. Students need quiet and distraction free learning time to focus on our reading and math curriculum, as well as state and district assessments. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus, in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
