Having access to technology in our classroom will allow students to reach beyond the textbook examples and experience science in real life. Our students need to understand how to use a computer when going into the work force. We have 3 computer labs on campus and only one that has enough computers for all students in a class to work on during the same class period. Students would be able to use these chrome books to help fill the gaps at the computer labs on campus so every student can work on a computer at one time. We are constantly fighting over computer lab time between 90 teachers on campus. Having a few chrome books in class would free up unnecessary lab time for the few students that need a little more time on their assignments. If they couldn't finish them in the computer lab.
