Students will be able to learn through the iPads how there are different applications for free that will allow them to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle. We have way too many students who are on their phones and tablets and not moving enough to help combat the obesity problem here in the United States. Unfortunately, our Physical education program has been neglected the past few years and we are way behind. I want to provide our students not only with physical fitness apps but I want to also teach them about different games around the world that will interest them and get them moving. They will be able to look at videos online or even look up rules and adaptations with these iPads during the lesson rather than saying they will and never getting to it. iPads also allow for them to have fitness inside on rainy days because at the moment we do not have computers in the spaces we have to go into and having an iPad will really help have our students achieve that healthy and active lifestyle all us PE teachers want for them.
